THE GLADES, is a proposed 260 lot residential project in the heart of the Wide Bay growth precinct. It is situated on Doolong South Road, Hervey Bay, Qld and adjoins the popular Fraser Coast Anglican College. The proposed subdivision is directly opposite Parklands Estate.
Given its size and its proximity to Parklands Estate it was identified as being surplus to our needs for the Hervey Bay residential market and was sold in one line in 2007 with development approval in place.
About Hervey Bay
Hervey Bay is a city in Queensland, Australia. The city is situated approximately 290 kilometres (180 Mi) or 3.5 hours highway drive north of the state capital, Brisbane. It is a natural bay between Queensland mainland and nearby Fraser Island. The local economy relies on tourism which is based primarily around whale watching in Platypus Bay to the North, access to Fraser Island, accessible recreational fishing and boating and the natural north facing, calm beaches with wide undeveloped foreshore zones.
