Joint Venture Projects

Hillscorp has carried out and continues to carry out a number of highly successful joint venture projects.

A joint venture project is where we partner with a land owner to develop the property either in conjunction with the land owner or on behalf of the land owner. Our joint venture partners can be involved as much, or as little as they like. Part of the secret to the success of our joint venture projects is the way that they are structured. We believe in a structure that is entirely fair and equitable to the land owner. Using this approach Hillscorp does not receive any of the profits distribution from the project until the land owner has been paid the agreed figure per stage, a sum which has been determined prior to the commencement of the project. In other words we only get paid any profits after our partner has been paid.

In nearly all circumstances the most money a landowner can make from selling their property is through the vehicle of a joint venture.

The reason is simple. The property owner’s land is ‘written in’ at an agreed value right from the outset and on top of this the owner also gets to share in the profits from the project. It’s a bit like the old saying “you get to keep your cake and eat it too.”

Hillscorp also pays for the cost of getting the approvals for the project upfront. If there is no result there is no cost to the landowner.

An essential characteristic of all of our joint ventures is that all parties benefit and profit from the relationship.
